Wednesday day-time walks

Do you have a spare half-day? Why not join the Rugby Ramblers on their Wednesday day-time walks.

Crick - September 2011

Walks are scheduled for The Blue Lias Ring, Easenhall, Crick and Cubbington-to-Leamington Spa. We meet locally at 10am and walk between 3 and 5 miles. If you are interested, check out the walks summary to the right or click on the summary to go to the full walks program.

Therefore all seasons shall be sweet to thee,
Whether the summer clothe
the general earth
With greenness, or the
redbreast sit and sing
Betwixt the tufts of snow on the bare branch ...

Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Rugby Ramblers is an active and friendly group. Whether on your own, with a partner, or with friends, you will be made very welcome. We organise over a hundred walks a year graded to suit all abilities, together with a range of social events.

Hollinsclough - June 2010

Blockley - May 2011

Throughout the year, the weekend offers the opportunity for longer walks. Sundays offer walks up to 7 or 10 miles alternating with walks up to 12 or 16 miles. There is a Saturday walk once a month that provides walks from 7 to 12 miles.
We also have a selection of mid-week walks to places such as The Rollrights or The Boddingtons – from 7 to 12 miles. These walks are fortnightly, alternating between Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Hanbury - April 2011

Abergavenny - April 2011

Twice a year a coach trip is arranged and this enables members to participate in walks further from home. The group also arranges three weekends away each year with favourite locations being Derbyshire, The Lake District and Whitby.
Members can also attend a range of social events, including a Barn Dance on New Year’s Eve, a Quiz Night, or you can test your skill at darts or skittles or indulge yourself at our Soups and Puds evening where we show a selection of pictures from the previous year’s walks.

Boxing Day Amble
December 2010

Our walks are arranged for members of the Ramblers’ Association. Guests are welcome to join us for two walks after which, we hope you will join the Association.

Woodford Halse & Cannons Ashby - March 2011
