Thirsty Ramblers often welcome the opportunity for a stop at a public house at some point during the walk. Some public houses are not suitable for an unannounced visit from muddy-booted ramblers, whereas others are more accommodating.
The public houses listed on this page allowed us to consume our own food in their garden provided we purchased a drink from the bar. You may find this list useful when considering your own walk - click on a pub to go to their website.
